Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis raise $14 million for direct impact on the Ukrainian people
Ashton Kutcher is married to Mila Kunis, an actress originally from Ukraine who came to the US in 1991. Together, on Friday, March 4, they launched a fundraising effort that will have an immediate impact on refugees and humanitarian aid efforts, Mila Kunis said on an Instagram video.
Clearly touched by what is happening in her country, the actress explains that this fund will go to Flexport.org and Airbnb.org, two organizations that are active on the ground to provide immediate aid to those who need it most. Flexport.org sends relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova and Airbnb.orgprovides free short-term housing to refugees fleeing Ukraine.
In all, more than 14 million dollars have already been raised, including 3 million directly donated by the couple.
