Britney Spears did not invite her parents to her wedding: her mother reacts on Instagram

While she wasn't invited to her daughter's wedding at all, Britney Spears' mother Lynne Spears still wanted to publicly congratulate the singer on this new chapter in her life. Under an Instagram photo posted by Britney, the 67-year-old wrote, I'm so happy for you.

 

Obviously, Britney's mother is not holding a grudge as she publicly congratulated her daughter on her marriage. Commenting on an Instagram post of the star, Lynne Spears wrote: You look radiant and happy. You truly had a dream wedding. The ceremony was able to take place at your home, which makes this moment even more special and touching. Love you.

 

Britney Spears' two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15 - born of her union with ex-husband Kevin Federline - declined to attend the wedding, but said they were happy for their mother.
