Scandal after the Met Gala: Kim Kardashian would have damaged the dress of Marylin Monroe by wearing it

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian, who borrowed Marilyn Monroe's iconic dress for the Met Gala, is now suspected of having damaged it.

 

The affair had caused a lot of ink to flow. At the Met Gala on May 2, Kim Kardashian walked the carpet with the iconic dress that Marilyn Monroe wore when she wished a happy birthday in song to President Kennedy in 1962 at Madison Square Garden.

  

Created by Jean Louis, the fashion piece would now present damage. In before and after photos, published by collector Scott Fortner and revealed to People magazine, some crystals appear to be missing and others are hanging by a thread.

 

On May 2, Ripley's, which acquired the dress in 2016, had said that everything had been put in place to protect the dress.
