Goodbye Veronica Forqué. I worked a few years ago with her and I remember a sweet, witty woman and a very good acting partner. R.I.P, tweeted actor Antonio Banderas shortly after the announcement of her death. Born in Madrid in 1955, she was the daughter of director Jose Maria Forqué and writer Carmen Vazquez-Vigo.
Making her film debut under the direction of her father in the early 1970s, she has seen her career crowned with four Goya awards, best actress (1988 and 1994 for Kika) and best supporting actress (1987 and 1988). She has also acted in theater and television.
