The American rock star of the 1970s Meat Loaf died Thursday night at the age of 74, in the presence of his wife Deborah, report several media.
 
Consecrated in the 1970s for his vocal and scenic qualities, Meat Loaf knew a planetary success in 1977 with his album Bat out of Hell. The singer was also known in the cinema, notably for his roles in the musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) or the film Fight Club by David Fincher.
